We appreciate your patience in waiting to learn more about raising money for the Devin Gaines Scholarship Fund. We were able to raise the $6,000 to help Devin's family cover the costs of the funeral, and we are now working to raise $25,000 for a scholarship fund in Devin's name. We cannot think of a better way to to honor our friend who, in his great love of learning, offered help to students in need.
Joseph Sweet, a student at UConn, is handling the specifics of the fund, and so we will quote his instructions directly. There is currently no option available for electronic donations, and so donations must be made by check. If an electronic option is made available later, we will contact you again, but assume there will not be one for now.
